Services related to mobile employees’ relocation

  • preliminary calculations of the tax burden associated with relocation, taking into account the company’s internal tax policies (tax alignment policy, tax protection policy, etc.); 
  • preparation of documents for obtaining business or work visas, work permits for employees and their family members, including correspondence with state authorities, submission of notices and monitoring of the status of documents, as well as support for employees in the process of obtaining permits; 
  • advising employees during their relocation to another country on the taxation of their income and, if applicable, the requirements of currency legislation, special economic measures in connection with the hostile actions of the US and foreign countries and international organizations that have joined it, as well as on issues of pension coverage in Russia; 
  • preparation and submission of personal income tax returns to the tax authorities; 
  • dealing with the tax authorities in respect of filed tax returns, including the justification for offsetting taxes paid in foreign countries, and support during desk tax audits; 
  • reconciliation with the tax authorities on settlements of employees on personal income tax, receipt of tax deductions and various statements and documents (on the absence of taxes payable, confirmation of the status of a resident for the purposes of a double tax treaty, etc.); 
  • preparation of calculations for settlements between an employee and a company in accordance with the company’s internal tax policies; 
  • preparation and submission to the tax authorities of individuals’ notices on the opening, changing details and closing of accounts with foreign banks and other financial institutions, as well as reporting on these accounts; 
  • support in maintaining pension coverage in the home country.

Other mobility services

  • advise on tax issues and payment of mandatory insurance contributions from payments to mobile personnel; 
  • assessment of requirements for the issuance of a business visa/work permit for business trips, secondment, transfers and hiring; 
  • advising on setting up a process for obtaining permits by the employer, including training and organization of information meetings for company employees responsible for migration issues.
