Professionals’ Club

Kept platform for sharing best practices and ideas in the interests of sustainable business development

The Professionals’ Club is an open platform within the Kept Sustainable Solutions Lab, which brings together professionals in the areas of sustainability, health and safety, industrial and environmental safety, risk management, business reliability and continuity, and human resources and social responsibility management.

At the Club meetings top managers and executives share best practices and ideas in the interests of sustainable business development.

Kept ESG Days 2023

In September, Professionals' Club at Kept's Sustainable Solutions Lab will hold a series of free events for clients:

14 March 2023 – Biodiversity Conservation: Business Strategies of the Current Decade

At Kept's Moscow office, the Operational Risk and Sustainability (ORS) group presented a Biodiversity Guide for Business: Version 1.0. It was prepared by Kept based on the analysis of 73 sources of information on biodiversity issues at the international and domestic levels. The publication included results of the online survey of 50 Russian companies from 12 sectors of economy which was carried out by the ORS in the framework of the Professionals’ Club of the Kept Sustainable Solutions Lab. Both the workshop and the Kept survey caused a keen response from the professional community. The discussion showed that in today’s environment Russian business not only maintains biodiversity conservation programs, but also plans to significantly expand its practices related to environmental protection in the near future. In this regard, the Kept guide presented at the event was recognized as a significant document that could help companies in this area.

1 February 2023 — GRI 2021: Intricacies, Challenges and Practical Advice

As part of the Professionals’ Club online meeting on GRI 2021: Intricacies, Challenges and Practical Advice, Kept experts in the field of non-financial reporting and sustainability talked to participants about the most important changes in the GRI standards that entered into force from 1 January 2023, possible approaches to assessing impacts and determining materiality, and a combination of universal and industry standards. Examples of best practice disclosures from various industries and approaches used were given. The webinar ended with a Q&A session.

15 April 2022 — ESG in the Asia-Pacific Markets: Prospects, Opportunities and Specifics

As part of an online meeting of the Professionals’ Club on GRI 2021: Intricacies, Challenges and Practical Advice, Kept experts in the field of non-financial reporting and sustainability talked to participants about the most important changes in the GRI standards that entered into force from 1 January 2023, possible approaches to assessing impacts and determining materiality, and a combination of universal and industry standards. Examples of best practice disclosures from various industries and approaches used were given. The webinar ended with a Q&A session.

9 October 2019 — Climate Change Risk Management: Approaches and Practical Solutions

The event was organized in cooperation with the Russian Climate Partnership and brought together more than fifty professionals from major Russian and foreign companies, non-profit organizations and government bodies interested in new climate change risk management tools. Topics covered included the role of climate risks in the ESG criteria, approaches to climate risk management, climate risk assessment systems, prioritization of direct and indirect risks for business, etc.

12 July 2019 — State-of-the-art IT Solutions to Improve Safety and Efficiency of Corporate Car Fleets

The event was organized in cooperation with the Russian Climate Partnership and brought together more than fifty professionals from major Russian and foreign companies, non-profit organizations and government bodies interested in new climate change risk management tools. 3 December 2018 — Gamification in Personnel Training and Assessment. Development Trends and Options

The club participants’ meeting was devoted to the use of gamification in personnel training and assessment. An overview of current trends in the development of personnel training, involvement and assessment through gamification (game mechanics) was presented. In addition, the business game Winter is Coming was held, during which participants tested some practical tools for express assessment of personnel.

14 September 2018 — First Professionals’ Club Meeting

On 14 September 2018, the Professionals’ Club held its first meeting in the framework of the Kept Sustainable Solutions Lab. It was attended by around 100 specialists and heads of departments to discuss the implementation of best practices to improve operational efficiency, reliability and business continuity on a sustainable basis.
