Today, the global economy consumes more than 100 billion tons of material resources per year, while the share of secondary resources that return to the life cycle is only 7.2%.* In these conditions, consumption is expected to almost double by 2060 in the absence of urgent measures. Understanding the lack of prospects for further development in the linear economy paradigm, more and more countries and companies are setting ambitious goals for the transition to a circular economy. In Russia, this transition is one of the priorities of the federal environmental policy.
