BRICS: potential for Energy and Climate cooperation

Kept presents a summary analysis of the development of energy and climate potential of the BRICS member states. The survey provides a summary of the BRICS member states; key macroeconomic indicators of the countries as at the date of the survey; main indicators of the energy sector of the countries in question and characteristics of their power systems; statistics on reserves of fossil energy resources. The survey also includes forecast economic development indicators of the BRICS member states compiled on the basis of the relevant reports of international financial institutions, and the main areas of development of the energy industry in the near future in accordance with the energy national plans of the countries under consideration and their main climate obligations.
