Emergency stop for DTT: initiative by the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RF Ministry of Finance to suspend DTTs with ‘unfriendly’ states

On 15 March 2023 the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RF Ministry of Finance came forward with a proposal to the President of Russia to issue a Decree on the suspension of double tax treaties with all jurisdictions that have unilaterally imposed restrictive measures against Russia.
There still exist some unclear aspects which, should the initiative be supported, will be probably clarified by the Decree.
